Hi & Welcome to my first blog post.
My name is Claire Sutton. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor, a solution-focused therapist and coach, and a specialist in human behaviour in the workplace. My private practice caters mostly to high functioning professionals, executives and entrepreneurs who are angry, anxious and/or depressed. Many are going through transitions, dealing with life challenges, relationship struggles or weathering stressors that tend to prevent them from being fully happy.
I help clients re-adjust and re-calibrate their lives so that they can step into their confidence in all areas of their lives. Once clients can self-monitor their emotions then they can allow for the psychological space to know how to deal with life’s challenges.
The purpose of my blogging will be to give readers insights and skills for confidence building and work-life balance achievement. “Our attitude determines our altitude” rings true when we feel positive and confident because then we act in a positive and confident manner. My goal with my blogging is to give a confidence boost to my blog readers on a daily basis i.e. instill a positive thought often with a simple action skill. These positive thoughts and skills will give my readers needed insight to help them perform better at work and at life in general. Incorporating many of these thoughts and skills into their daily routine will improve confidence, productivity and eventually income.
I will be blogging about action behaviours that readers can begin to implement right away so that they can reduce stress and step into their confidence with more pride. I will give examples on how these behaviours have either worked for me or for many of my clients. I will comment on mental health related stories and link it to mental health insights and stress reducing skills.
I welcome comments from my readers and I look to learn from them too so that my blogging posts evolve in a manner that benefits many. I will respond to comments from readers who either agree or disagree with me. The caveat is that comments be written respectfully. Should readers have a more detailed question for me to answer please email me at csutton@clairesutton.com.
I look forward to blogging on weekdays, preferably first thing in the morning. I will begin blogging regularly within the week.
Stay tuned for blog # 2
